CEED is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization that provides free small business start-up support to area businesses, both in the City of Pittsburgh and the ten surrounding counties. We work to create opportunities for community growth and economic sustainability throughout Southwestern Pennsylvania with our small business assistance program, SKILLS TO WEALTH.

Leslie Parr, Shining Stars Creative Childcare and Learning Center
Shining Stars Creative Childcare and Learning Center is owned by Leslie Parr, who also serves as site director. The center, located in Wilkinsburg, officially opened its doors in 2011 to provide working parents with a top quality child care facility to send their kids to during the day while they are at work. The center serves children aged 1 to 4, including full time kids as well as after school/part time kids. Shining Stars is a licensed child care facility, which gives the parents of all of their kids the security of knowing that their children are spending the day in a top notch facility that values safety, security, and the well-being of their children.
